The newly defined greater Munich area includes parts of the dioceses of Augsburg, Munich and Freising. The previous “metropolitan area allowance” for the Munich metropolitan area has been spatially adjusted to the new “Greater Munich area”. The amounts have been adjusted to the amounts paid by the municipalities. A new edition of the KODA Compass with more detailed information is currently being printed. Due to many requests, we are now making the article on the new metropolitan area allowance available to you in advance.
Please note: The new regulation has not yet come into force. The final editorial details are currently being clarified. The regulation will come into force on 1 May this year. Only publication in the diocesan official journals is legally effective.
